ABOUT PASTOR STEVE

Pastor Steven Sorensen is the Sr. Pastor of JPL Bible Church. He has been married to his wife Marty for over 20 years and they have two sons, Matthew and Michael. He graduated from Biola University and Talbot Seminary where he received a Masters degree in Christian Education and a Masters of Divinity.

He also did additional studies in Islamic theology and practice at Fuller seminary before becoming a missionary to Abidjan on the Ivory Coast of Africa. Pastor Steve and Pastor Greg Chastain are the founding pastors of JPL. The first public JPL Bible Church service was held at the Shadow Mountain CC in January 2002.
